Cracking Litter

Good news on the council front, I have just received a litter picker, some bin bags, gloves and a high vis jacket.  So once I have sorted out the brush cutter I can make a start getting rid of the junk.

Thanks Wigan Council and the folks who helped make this happen!!

No show from Wigan Council yet…

…but there’s time!

Anyway it’s getting almost the prime time to be gathering seeds, sowing new ones and of course swinging into action on clearing a whole new patch of land.  So over the next few months there should be quite a few new updates from me as I intend to grab the bull by the horns and finish what I’ve started.

A particular point of focus will be the really boggy patch which makes the line almost impassable in winter and when it is wet, so I will be filling that in pref with cinders but filled in all the same.

I have to say it has been really encouraging seeing the increased use of the line by families with prams and individuals in general, considerably more than I have ever seen. Makes it all worth while.

Anyway ttfn
