New Year
Rain, Mud, Rain, Mud oh yeh and litter. That’s all that’s happened on this project since September.
Except I hopefully have a new recruit and it seems like the trees may actual turn up.
Sadly over time your determination to get a job done wains a little so you need to step back and have a breather but when someone comes along who is willing to help well it really kicks you back into action.
And a local resident is sending great emails to the local councilor to get the cinder we need to repair the path - which is great news because little water logging means we can get on with simple stuff like litter picks, stuff that makes a difference. The mud donw the line has become so deep you’d be hard pushed to get down on a bike never mind walk. Even the new verge I cut has been eroded so much that I’d need to cut a new one but that would go the same way.
If I can get that cinder and another wheel barrow I can start filling in the big holes and get the place tidier ready for spring.
Hey maybe some light at the end of the tunnel after all
